Customer Garment Steamer Reviews
Great machine @ a good price-prompt shpg-no problems![]()
Although it says it’s ready in 45 seconds, it’s ready at 30! Easy to assemble, lightweight, easy storage, reliable so far - so much easier than setting up an ironing board. Works on drapes, pants, etc. in one pass! Great for lightweight and Heavy fabrics - just like a retail steamer I used years ago-throw out that iron & board!
Makes getting ready for work easy![]()
I am very pleased with the steamfast fabric steamer. Great on coats, jackets and pants (no shine line from the iron) Everything looks like it just came from the dry cleaner.
Great value and product,
I have owned and used this fabric steamer for four - five months now. The way that I have found that it works best is to hang the clothes on a hook on door or wall so it gives something solid behind the item to more easily steam the garment. I use it every morning for my daily work clothes. Using the brush that comes with it works much better with heavier fabrics such as polos and T-shirts. I take the brush off for polyester and silk items. Like some other reviewers said, do not let children use this steamer as it does get hot. Using a door or wall hook seems to help elimate accidental burns or swipes of steam.
The biggest problem I have is running out of water unexpectedly, but that’s my fault for not watching the water level.
I am very happy with this machine and much prefer it to ironing.
Love this steamfast steamer!,
This is the first steamfast sf 407 fabric steamer I ever purchased. While researching what to buy, friends warned me of various products and how ineffective they were. No one knew of this product, I read the reviews and took a chance. I am so glad I did. This steamer meets my needs exactly. I needed a steamer to get out the wrinkles in my fabric roman shades. Perfect! I then used it on my husband’s cotton polo shirts- Perfect! Then on my cotton t-shirts- Perfect. That’s about all I tried to date. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.
Quick and easy - good value for the money,
When I was a visual merchandiser for a retail store, I used a professional steamer nearly every day. I purchased this steamer based on price and user reviews. So far it has lived up to my expectations. It heats up quickly and I can get several garments done before I run out of water. Besides being lighter and made of plastic, it performs very similarly to professional grade (which cost 4 times as much). Two minor problems I have with this steamer - there are no brakes on the wheels so the steamer slides around while I’m steaming, and the telescoping pole isn’t quite high enough for my taste. Most of the time I hang my garment on something else. Like with any steamer, it takes a little practice to really get good at it. A pointer for those new to steaming - place the steamer head on the inside of your garment pushing steam from inside to out. It’s easier for you to handle everything that way (rather than steaming from the outside of the garment). Plus, I save a lot of steam burns by working this way!
