Steamer Iron any pleats in the shirt by orienting the pleat in its appropriate position, then ironing clothes down along the length of the pleat.Steamer Iron the body of the shirt in long strokes, without stopping, to prevent potentially burning the shirt. Reposition the shirt as needed throughout this process to iron out all wrinkles in the body of the shirt.
Steamer Iron a sleeve of the shirt by laying the sleeve flat along the board, with the sleeve creased along the top and bottom of the shirt then turning the sleeve over and ironing the other side. Repeat for both sleeves.Lay the shirt on the board with the inside facing up, spray it with starch and iron it flat.
Turn the shirt over so the outside of the clothes is facing up, and again starch it before ironing clothes.Fold the shirt down as it will be when being worn, and iron around the seam to create a sharp crease. Do not iron the full clothes in this step, just the edge of the clothes with the tip of the iron.
Lay the shirt flat atop the ironing board, with the back of the shirt facing up and the point of the board at the neck of the shirt, and set the iron to its cotton setting.
